Robotics: Tricky the Robot
Students will construct a motorized mini sports bot that will be built with a sports purpose. Students will program the mini bot to identify a ball, scoop the ball, navigate to a hoop, and dunk a basket. Additionally, the robot will be programmed to follow a path, created by the students, so that the robot may shoot another basket in a constructed target. Students will use gears, motors, distance sensor, color sensor, and other parts to construct their robot. After the robot is built, students will “code” the robot brain, thus, bringing the robot to life!
