Electronics
Building a preprogrammed Reflex Game electronic circuit – Black Friday 2022
Students will receive an “Introduction to Electronics” presentation, which includes an understanding of conductors, insulators, and electron flow. They will then go on to build their own, take-home, Reflex Game electronic circuit. Students will learn about, and use, resistors, jumper wires, buttons, LEDs (light emitting diodes), and integrated circuits. Students will assemble their components on a mini breadboard in completing their circuit. Once assembled, the 2-player reflex game will pit player against player in this game that requires cat like reflexes in responding to a randomized countdown. After the autonomous signal to “Go!”, the first player to press the button wins! This is a “hands-on” activity.
